Adoration

Adoration is a time of quiet contemplation and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, which is the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. It's a special opportunity to encounter the Lord in a profound way, to simply be in His presence, and to allow Him to fill our hearts with peace and love. We have Adoration every Tuesday 9am-9pm in our chapel, and Wednesdays 9am-9pm in the main church. Click below to learn more or sign up for an hour!

Bereavement Ministry

When someone we love dies, we can find ourselves dealing with changes, transitions, and a host of emotions.  The bereavement support group is a way to find faith-based support for many different emotions of grief.  By walking with others, we can help each other find acceptance and peace. Council of Catholic Women

Our purpose is to bring together the women of Holy Family in an effort to promote stewardship and friendship, share Catholic values, and encourage members to join together in common projects for the benefit of the parish and community.

All women of the parish are invited to come to join us! Meetings are the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Social Hall.

Choir

The faithful who gather together to await the Lord's coming are instructed by the Apostle Paul to sing psalms, hymns and inspired songs (Col 3:16). Song is the sign of the heart's joy (Acts 2:46), and it is said, "One who sings well prays twice." (CSL) To learn more about joining our choir please click the button below.

Handmaids of Mary

Handmaids of Mary is a passionately Catholic and unapologetically feminine club for mothers and daughters. Together they will grow in virtue, deepen their love of God through Mary and the Saints, acquire practical skills, grow their talents, and make cherished memories. Through these activities, mothers will intentionally prepare their daughters to be authentically feminine and Catholic in any future vocation. Handmaids of Mary is open to girls from ages 5 to 18 and their mothers.  Mothers are an integral part of this group and are expected to stay and participate in activities. When a mother is unable to attend, a proper female substitute may act in her stead. This includes a grandma, aunt, older adult, sister, or good friend.

Liturgical Ministries

In addition to the ordained ministries there are various liturgical roles which may be exercised by lay people, including: acolytes (altar servers), lectors, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, cantors, choir members, instrumentalists, and ushers. Others support the liturgy by planning and organizing the liturgy, keeping the church clean and well-ordered, and providing decorations that reflect the spirit of the liturgical feast or season.

Luke TwoForty

Luke TwoForty is the brainchild of Father Joseph Minuth. Families from the Ogden area parishes meet monthly for activities to learn together and enjoy each other’s company. “As a group of young Catholic families, we’re trying to teach our kids more about the Catholic culture and the Catholic traditions,” Fr. Minuth. The group takes its name from the Scripture, “And as the child grew to maturity, he was filled with wisdom; and God’s favor was with him”.

Oblates of Saint Benedict

Oblates of Saint Benedict are Christian men and women who choose to associate themselves with a religious community of Benedictine Sisters in order to strengthen their baptismal commitment and enrich their Christian way of life. Oblates do not take vows or live in a monastery. They continue to live in the world while they strive eagerly to live out the values of the Gospel.”

Parish Council

The Holy Family Parish Council was established in union with the precepts and doctrines of the Holy Roman Catholic Church, the Pope, and its Bishops. The Council is to reach out to all the people of God, build up the Body of Christ, and fulfill His commission to spread the Good News. The council listens to the parishioner and community needs and empowers and guides the parish community to realize its goals.

Prayer Chain

The Prayer Chain Ministry is a ministry where a “chain” of people constantly pray for those individuals who are in need of prayers. Prayer request can come from anyone, bearing in mind the place of our faith in answers to our prayers (Matt 9:22, 28; Lk 5:20; James 1:5-8). Contact us with your intentions or to join the Prayer Chain.
