Altar Society
Vision Statement
As an Altar Society our vision is to support the parish priest and church community by assisting in the liturgical services for those receiving Baptism, receiving the sacrament of Matrimony and especially for those who have passed away. As a society, we will serve as an example of reverence and humility as we clean and prepare the church for the liturgical celebration.
Mission
Our mission as the Altar Society is to ensure that the sacred spaces are clean and reverently prepared for the liturgical celebration.
We must always maintain a deep sense of reverence for the services we perform. We are reminded that we are participating in the sacred liturgy by facilitation the encounter between God and his people.
